VOLUNTARY ACTION PERTHSHIRE Rural Community Contact Project Dear Committee Secretary, Voluntary Action Perthshire (VAP) is an organisation funded to support the Voluntary Sector and Community groups in Perth and Kinross. We are the community engagement department of Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service (PKAVS) located at The Gateway, North Methven Street, Perth PH1 5PP. We are currently trying to make local organisations aware of the free services (some of our services) we provide to support people within the voluntary sector and also offer you the opportunity to take part in the above project. This contact project is extremely important as it will ensure the most accurate picture of the range, depth and value of the voluntary sector to communities in Perth and Kinross. I would be grateful if you could provide details of your organisation on the linked mapping form for inclusion in this very worthwhile exercise. Although all data fields on the form are extremely useful to us for statistical purposes, we understand that some information may be sensitive. If so please complete the sections with information you are comfortable sharing. Sensitive information will be held in the strictest confidence. The mapping form can also be found on our new interactive website at www.vaperthshire.org under “The Rural Dimension” tab on the left hand side of the page and by clicking on “Voluntary Sector Rural Community Contact Project”. You may also wish to add your organisations details to our online voluntary and community sector directory of services and this can be found under the “Directory” tab and by clicking on “Add Entry”.
