CIRCLE - KINROSS BRANCH
The Scottish Handcraft Circle
is a group of amateur craftspeople who, through their activities,
create handwork of innovative design and a high standard of execution.
The Circle was founded in
1945 from an idea at a Guide Commissioner’s conference. It
is mainly involved in needle crafts, including embroidery, patchwork,
quilting, crochet and tatting, but other crafts, such as pewter
work and calligraphy, feature from time to time. It is a tradition
in the Circle that members are willing to pass on their skills to
