The Scottish Government, supported by the European Social Fund (ESF), is set to launch a new and innovative £18.9 million Aspiring Communities Fund to support the most disadvantaged communities across Scotland to tackle poverty and inequality. Read Press Release for further information

Newsletter Grants
Community groups and individuals are again invited to apply for grant funding from Kinross Community Council Newsletter Ltd charitable company (KCCNL). This is the fund that has built up over the years from profits made by the Kinross Newsletter.
Deadlines for applications are 30 September and 31 March.

Benefits Advice in Libraries (BAIL) Benefits specialist Sarah MacLean is available at Loch Leven Community Campus to provide advice on all benefit related issues. Alongside general benefits advice, Sarah can help with: completing forms (including online), conducting checks to see if clients are receiving everything they are entitled to, and providing advice and support where an application is refused or awarded at a lower level than expected. Sarah is available by appointment only. Appointments are usually offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Monthly Farmers' Market from April to October
As 2016, the trial year for the Kinross Farmers' Market, has been such a success KLEO (Kinross-shire Local Events Organisation) has decided to organise a monthly market in 2017. Dates can be seen on the Press Release.
