Community groups and individuals are again invited to apply for grant funding from Kinross Community Council Newsletter Ltd charitable company (KCCNL). This is the fund that has built up over the years from profits made by the Kinross Newsletter.
Deadlines for applications are 30 September and 31 March.

Benefits Advice in Libraries (BAIL) Benefits specialist Sarah MacLean is available at Loch Leven Community Campus to provide advice on all benefit related issues. Alongside general benefits advice, Sarah can help with: completing forms (including online), conducting checks to see if clients are receiving everything they are entitled to, and providing advice and support where an application is refused or awarded at a lower level than expected. Sarah is available by appointment only. Appointments are usually offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays. There are raffle tickets on sale in Heaven Scent. Draw to take place on Friday 20th January.
£1 per ticket or a strip of five for a fiver. Proceeds go to HiT Scotland charity as my fundraising for my walk along the Great Wall of China. The trip is paid for and now starts the fundraising.
Prizes so far include afternoon teas, hotel accommodation, spa treatments, theatre tickets, an MOT, wine, cinema tickets, champagne, jewellery, handbags, logs, a will!!! (yeah I know!) It would be amazing if any business would like to add a gift to the raffle.
