Crook of Devon is situated on the A977 road from Kinross to Kincardine Bridge at a point where the River Devon turns sharply westwards.
The village is known for the witchcraft trials held in the 1660’s. witches were tortured, strangled and then burnt at the stake in the Lamblairs field.The church, St. Serf’s, dates from 1729.
