 The tiny village of Rumbling Bridge, 7 miles from Kinross and the M90, on the A977 is well known for the very unusual double bridge over the River Devon. The lower bridge which is 80ft above the river bed was built in 1713. In 1816 another, parapetless, bridge was built over the first one at a height of 120 feet.
